[TRAVEL] : INTO THE DREAMLAND - BA NA HILL MOUNTAIN RESORT VIETNAM | 越南岘港最大游乐园-巴那山

October 21, 2016

Have you read my Da Nang's itinerary? If you do then you should know that I love Bana Hills so so much! I want to share more about this place with all of you so I decided to make a detailed post about Bana Hills~ If you are going to Da Nang, please add Ba Na Hills into your itinerary, I'm sure you will falling in love with this place just like me.

Located in the southwest of Da Nang city, Ba Na Hills Mountain Resort has breathtaking scenery, a range of splendid attraction and recreational amenities including cultural and heritage sites, shopping, luxurious accommodation, fine dining and games. With cool temperature climate and beautiful scenery views, Ba Na Hills impress a lot of visitors.

 ~How to get there?~

You can arrange your trip to Ba Na Hills with the local tour guide or book a taxi. If you come with a group of friends, you may consider booking a mini bus

Cable Car

We traveled up to Bana Hills by Cable Car! Looking down from the Cable Car, we can see the mountains, waterfalls and spectacular natural views. The Cable Car in Bana Hills is one of the ten most impressive cable car systems in the world:

*The longest non-stop single track cable car with a total length of 5,801meters
*The highest climb by a non-stop single track cable car with a height of 1,368 meters

Funicular

The Funicular can carry up to 1,600 visitors per hour to Debay Wine Cellar, Le Jardin d'Amour and Linh Ung Pagoda. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking vies of Ba Na Hills in while traveling through Funicular.

Watch this video I took in the Funicular.

 ~Attraction~

Explore the French Village, Debay Wine Cellar, Wax Museum, Le Jardin D' Amour Garden, Fantasy Park, spiritual landmarks(Linh Ung Pagoda, Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple, Linh Phong Tower, Tru Vu tea house, Ba Shrine), natural wonder and performance activities in Ba Na Hills!

French Village

When I stepped into French Village, I felt like I'm in Europe! Everything is so beautiful here, the Old French-styled architecture, streams of cafes and restaurants and entertained by street performances!

Church

When the sky turned dark, Bana Hills was getting more and more gloomy. This added some mysterious feeling into the photo that we took.

Le Jardin D Amour Garden

Beautiful and romantic garden in European style! There are seven small gardens inside which carries different theme and layout. I love all the fresh flowers here!

I spotted my favourite Hydrangea!

Wax Statue Museum

We also grab a chance to visit the first wax museum in Vietnam. There is more than 40 wax statues of celebrities, musicians, soccer superstars and politicians are on display. The details on each figure are great, it looks so real.

Steve Jobs

Albert Einstein

Bruce Lee
Hong Kong Actor-Chow Yun-Fat

 ~Accomodation~

I strongly recommended you to overnight here so that you can have more time to explore this beautiful place! Mercure Hotel in Bana Hills is perfect for a staycation with family members and friends. All the room's design is so European, I had a good night sleep here. The hotel staffs are genuine and helpful.

Look at Mercure Hotel, it looks like a magical castle straight out of fairytales!

 ~Dining~

L'e Table

We had Vietnamese cuisine at L'e Table for lunch, with the stunning panoramic views. My favourite is the Crispy Seafood Spring Rolls.

Beef stewed with Lemongrass and Chili served with Baguette

La Crique

At night, we had buffet dinner at La Crique. They served Western and Asian cuisine, I like the open kitchen where we can order freshly made customized pasta. They have quite a huge variety of food include wood-fired pizzas, traditional southern-styled pho, meats, cheese, fruit, dessert, pastries and more.

I really enjoyed my visit to Ba Na Hills and this is definitely a place that I want to revisit again when I go to Vietnam next time!

Air Asia flies to Da Nang Vietnam 4 times per week. Direct flights to Da Nang let tourists extend their tour to this fantastic city! There are so many exciting places that you don't want to miss out which include natural wonders and historical landmarks.
