Here we go! Flying to Sihanoukville for my first island trip ever, yoohoo~ I was so excited as I never been to any Island before. Air Asia just launched this new route to Sihanoukville Cambodia and we are the first who took this flight, feeling proud of myself, lol.
After a 1 hour 15 min flight, we reached Sihanoukville! We were welcomed by the staffs at Sihanoukville airport.

Checked in our room for two nights, it is simple but comfortable.
We stayed in this beautiful Independence Hotel during our trip! The atmosphere was pleasant, cool and relaxing. Thank you for hosting us, we had a great time here~

Checked in our room for two nights, it is simple but comfortable.
We can't stop to take photos around the hotel as they have many Instagram-worthy spots. The views from the swimming pool of the hotel are really impressive!
We had buffet dinner at the hotel and it is quite good! We were enjoying our fresh seafood with the sea breeze, felt so good~ I like how the chef prepared the seafood, they keep the seasonings simple by just sprinkle some salt and peppers to enhance the flavor of the seafood. You can eat the seafood with your favorite sauce.
Activities
At night, we went to Pub Street, enjoying our Cambodia beer near the seaside. Cheers!
My first snorkeling experience, I was so scared but I did enjoy the beautiful views of the sea! (Hope that I can conquer my scares on my next island trip)
Island hopping is one of the best things to do when you are in Sihanoukville. We travel from island to island of Koh rong Samloem using the boat, it was an exciting experience, will share more about island hopping in another post~
