[FOOD]: JOURNEY OF FLAVORS | MARCO CREATIVE CUISINE

   I was invited to join the 'Journey of Flavors' at Marco Creative Cuisine, One Utama last week. Chef Daren has put together a special seven-course menu that cost RM78 only including drinks, offering an affordable multi-course dining experience. Let's check out what I had during the food review session! 


   Marco Creative Cuisine is a modern gastronomic restaurant led by Chef Daren, with many years of experience in F&B industry. With his passion and creativity, the 7-course meal is set to excite and inspire guests' journey. 


   Watching this colorful Jellyfish dancing in the aquarium while having your meal is really satisfying! 


   Contemporary design in shades of tiffany blue and white, stylish and classy.


   A light and refreshing palate cleanser, Velvety Matcha-Lime Shooter was served once we were seated. Velvety Matcha-Lime foam covering a chilled Lime Snow, making the palate ready for the next course.

   Our meal begins with the appetizer, Savoury Eclair. This delicious French classic pastry is baked until crispy and hollow inside, then decorated with Aubergine Caviar, Green Chile Pesto and Tomato Confit.

   This French Onion Soup does give me a little surprise, I don't like onions but this soup tastes so good! The caramelized Onions broth is served with French Toast, the onions are incredibly soft, with a deep, sweet flavor.

   Next, I had Garden Platter, with lots of mixed greens plants on top of Edible Soil and Gribiche Sauce (French Tartar Sauce), assembling a garden on the plate. The textures and flavors marry wonderfully in every bite.

   For main, I had Salmon with Jet Black Hollandaise. Perfectly cooked Atlantic Salmon with crispy skin and tender meat, served with Squid Ink Hollandaise and garnished with Pickled Beetroot and Green Chile Pesto.

   Deconstructed Lemon Meringue Pie as a sweet ending to a good meal. Deconstructed Lemon Meringue Pie technically plated with elements of Lemon Curd, Passion Fruit Gel, Italian Meringue and White Chocolate Sherbet.

   Pair the dessert with a cup of French Press Coffee, perfect! The coffee is with slightly sour notes.

   This was the outfit I wore that night, I took some #OOTD photos to share with you guys. 





   It was an enjoyable dining experience at Marco Creative Cuisine. I think this is a perfect place to celebrate special occasion or dating with your love one without hurting your wallet! =)  For A La Carte order, Soup and Entree is at RM18 per serving, Main for RM35 per serving (+RM10 for Duck Breast) and Dessert for RM20 per serving.
