Air Asia flies to Da Nang Vietnam 4 times per week. Direct flights to Da Nang let tourists extend their tour to this fantastic city! There are so many exciting places that you don't want to miss out which include natural wonders and historical landmarks.

We checked in and printed our boarding pass at the self check-in kiosk, super fast and convenient!

During our flight to and back from Da Nang, we had Big Breakfast and Ayam Penyet with Rice. Air Asia offers Asian, International and vegetarian fares. I noticed that they have changed their menu, added in more new dishes! When you have no time to eat anything before your flight, in-flight meal is always the best choice.

Arrived at Da Nang International Airport! A small kiosk that sells local SIM card is just beside the main entrance of the airport. We bought 4GB data for our 4 days 3 nights trip and it was more than enough. We could stay connected to the internet all days long and shared our pictures on social media.

  Accommodation 住宿

Diamond Sea Hotel

The first hotel that we stayed in is Diamond Sea Hotel in Phuoc My, Da Nang. From here, we can enjoy beautiful sea view and the location is very convenient, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and the beach. The staffs of the hotel are very friendly, some of them can speak Chinese. My room is very comfortable and spacious, wifi connection is quite good too.

Mercure Hotels Bana Hills

The second night we were staying in a castle! OMG, I WAS SO EXCITED! If you plan to come to Bana Hills, I will suggest you to overnight here so that you can have time to explore around. I love the cool climate and beautiful scenery at Bana Hills. Mercure Hotel Bana Hills is a great place for a relaxing staycation, all the room's design is so European. I slept very well in my beautiful room, thank you for the great hospitality!

Eating Out in Da Nang  越南岘港美食

One of the best parts about traveling is eating your way through all of the local food! We tried so many local traditional food during our time in Da Nang, here are few to mention.

We went to Mi Quang Ech-Bep Trang to try the famous Mi Quang and Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls.
Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls
Mi Quang is Vietnamese rice noodle served with sauce, vegetables and turmeric soup with meat. Choose from fish, chicken, duck, pork and shrimp or special which include all the proteins inside the soup.

Fried Vietnam Spring Rolls
Vietnamese Coffee is strong and sweet, they usually use dark roasted coffee. I had so much of Vietnamese Coffee this few days, is like every place I went I ordered a cup of Vietnamese Coffee LOL XD

Cong Caphe

Vietnamese Iced Coffee
My first glass of Coconut Coffee and I'm already falling in love with this drink! Drip coffee served with coconut smoothie, not too sweet and not too strong.

*Cooking Class*

Instead of eating out, we also learned how to cook some simple Vietnamese dishes in Vegetable Village! We enjoyed a tour of the vegetable farm and the cooking class was super fun.

Our tutor was very attentive, she lead us step by step.

We learned how to make Banh Xeo and Hoi An Spring Rolls, yumm!
